Home to Alaska

Springtime in Anchorage

The days are long, and the Chugach mountains are beautiful.

The geese are back.

The May Day trees are blooming, and the whole city smells like flowers.

It's good to be home.

  1. Alaska looks beautiful this time of the year. I didn't know you had Canadian geese up there!

    1. Oh, yes, they come back at almost the same time every year. They thrive here.

  2. Beautiful! Our family had the amazing blessing to spend about 6.5 weeks in Alaska last September-November. I loved seeing the fall season there and experiencing a lot of different cities....they are all so different and unique from each other. I would love to visit again sometime in both the summer and in the winter. :D

    1. Wow, I'm glad you had such a long time to visit all the cities. You probably saw places I've never been. Yes, you should come in summer and winter. They're completely different experiences. We took the train from Anchorage to Fairbanks in March and it was beautiful.
